AVENTYR TRANS-ENGIADINA: The First Chapter of a New Alpine Adventure — 19–23 August 2026
Scuol, Val Müstair & the Lower Engadin, Switzerland
Summer 2026 marks the beginning of a new legend. From 19 to 23 August 2026, the Engadin mountains will host the inaugural edition of AVENTYR Trans-Engiadina—a bold, blind enduro adventure designed for riders who crave the unknown.
The Birth of a Legend
AVENTYR, inspired by the Norse word for “adventure” or “heroic tale,” invites mountain bikers to write history on trails that have never before carried this story. This is not just a race—it is the start of a tradition, a pioneering ride into raw alpine landscapes where every rider becomes part of the very first chapter.
A Journey Into the Wild
Riders will traverse the untamed beauty of Scuol, Val Müstair, and the Lower Engadine over several days. Each stage will remain a mystery until the moment it’s ridden—true blind enduro style. Expect 40 km of trails daily, with 1'000 meters of climbing and 2'800 meters of descent, powered by a mix of lift access, shuttle transfers, and sheer determination.
Adventure by Day, Community by Night
When the trails rest, the adventure continues at the event hub in Scuol. Riders will gather each evening for local food, live music, and stories around the fire—building not only a race but a community, bound by the shared spirit of discovery.

THE
ADVENTURE
The multi-day enduro mountain bike adventure takes riders through Scuol and Val Müstair. The route traverses high alpine passes on stunning trails, skirting a national park and winding through beautiful stone pine forests.
Riders will encounter technical challenges, endless flow, and breathtaking views. Each day covers approximately 1,600 meters of climbing, 2,800 meters of descent, and an average of 40 kilometers. Lift access and shuttle transfers are included.
Stages are ridden blind, without prior training, staying true to the Spirit of Enduro, where the shared experience takes center stage. After long days in the saddle, evenings at the Hub wrap up with a feast of local specialties, a campfire, and live music.
WHAT LEGENDS SAY
CARO GEHRIG
"Finally, Switzerland is getting its very own Adventure Enduro Race! I’m beyond stoked to be part of Aventyr’s first edition and can’t wait to ride the incredible trails this region has to offer. Most of the race zones are completely new to me, but they’ve been on my personal bucket list for a long time— I’m sure this is going to be an epic first experience!"
ANITA GEHRIG
"I absolutely love blind racing, and getting to experience it in the Swiss mountains feels unreal! There’s nothing quite like the adrenaline rush of racing blind—the pure thrill, the camaraderie, and the sense of adventure that make these events so special. The trails in the Engadin region are among the most epic in all of Switzerland, and I already know this will be the ultimate highlight of my summer!"
NEVIN GALMARINI
"I grew up in the Lower Engadine and know the trails here like the back of my hand – and trust me, there are still plenty of hidden gems! Scuol, Val Müstair, and Samnaun have everything an enduro race needs: flowy lines, technical sections, and endless descents with epic views. For me, Aventyr isn’t just a race – it’s going to be one hell of an adventure!"
